Back to ShoesThe Dynasuper has been one of the hardest shoes to get your hands on this year, and after all the hype I had one question: is it actually that good, or is it just another internet darling? I've put this shoe through easy runs, long runs, workouts, and everything in between to find out. So let's talk about the fit, what's great, what isn't, and whether this might be one of the best value running shoes you can buy in 2026.
The Dynasuper really is as close to a do it all shoe as you can get. The midsole is soft and stable enough to go easy, yet the response and rocker geometry really come alive when you want to push the pace. I used this shoe for long runs, intervals, tempo, and even an easy run to see how it felt and I walked away wanting to do more and more miles in it. Aside from the midsole the upper is breathable, has good lockdown, and the outsole holds up great
The bad is really just with trying to nail your size and fit without the ability to try it on beforehand. There are a couple of ways to buy the shoe now but for a while you had to rely on some slightly sketchy 3rd party resell sites. Even amongst those who have tried it I’m finding some inconsistency with some people saying size down, while for me I thought my size was great and if anything would consider sizing up. Distribution will continue to be a challenge for Dynafish until they have a legitimate retail presence in the US.
For the price I think this is a no brainer try for most serious runners. The shoe is VERY similar to the Evo SL and might even be better in not just some but most ways depending on your preference. Those who didn’t like the upper? This is a better one. Lacked the stability? This is more stable (though still not what I would say is an inherently stable shoe). I think I still prefer the feel of the Evo SL midsole but man it’s close as both are TPEE. Overall this is a great shoe and not just top 5 for 2026 but probably top 5 ever.
Easily! $120-130 isn’t quite as cheap as those in Asia and Australia are paying for this model but it’s still well worth it. Maybe the most versatile shoe currently on the market at budget trainer prices make this a no brainer.
